Halloween 2010

This morning seemed like a perfect time to carve the pumpkin, so while Ben was sleeping after going to an all night Lock-in with church, the girls and I decied to cave the pumpkin. They were not sure about all of this, but very intense to see what we were going to do.  When I got the top of the pumpking off, they did not like the stuff in side of the pumpkin, Bethany kept saying "EWWE". As we continued, they started putting their hands in it, but would not remove anythng out of the pumpkin. After I cleaned the pumpkin out, they pretty much had lost interest. Finished the pumpkin and i heard Oohs and Ahs from them, I think they through it was pretty cool! This would be the second time for Bethany, first time for Braelyn to experience carving a pumpkin.

Then we decieded to put our costumes on! FUN FUN FUN!!! (Okay I have yet to see how to turn these photos, SORRY!)

BLESSED

I can only say tonight that I am so very blessed! Blessed to have three beautiful children. Blessed to have a wonderful family that loves me. Blessed to have a church with wonderful people that really care about me. But most importantly I am blessed because I have a God who loves me, and will always be by my side no matter what happens in life.

A few weeks ago,  I had an opportunity to go to a ladies retreat. After we were all done with the retreat a few ladies went to lunch and Kimberly (Pastor's Wife) asked each one of us if we could share something that we learned from the retreat! I thought to myself, I do not have anything to share, I listened, heard what they said, but I didnt get anything out of it. Sorta chuckled and said to myself I am not saying anything. I remember her saying God is helping you sort it out what you  have heard. Then we all got in front of the church, and I still did not share anything. But the truth is God is working on my heart from that awesome weekend, I learned that I had to be commited to God's word! Commited so that I can help my children to be commited. I am not a big reader, and It is not something that I really do alot of! But is something I need to do. So I have started reading out of Genesis to the girls and for myself. That might not be the perfect part for me to start out at, however, i have always wanted to read the Bible from beginning to the end. SO that is why I have decieded to start there. But tonight at church, God must have been trying to get my attention again, because Pastor Jim made a comment at the end of the night, that to be a part of God, you have to read his word. And how so many people just do not understand how important it really is. (He said something like that). Read, Read Read your Bible it is so important!

Baby Dedication

On October 10th, I had the girls dedicated! Accepting that i will raise these little girls up in the most Godly way that I can! It was a beautiful day. My family came to join us that day, we had dinner and attempted to to go the apple orchard, but it was extremely busy!
